Kew Gardens Annual Events

Featured Story
There's always a fun reason to be in Kew Gardens, New York.
Annual Events in Kew Gardens and Queens

In a city the size of New York, you can probably imagine that there is never a dull moment. The neighborhood of Kew Gardens keeps this reputation alive with several activities that are planned throughout the year. Queens County also sponsors dozens of events every year, and you can be sure to attend this year by adding the most interesting things to your calendar right now.

Kew Gardens makes a big deal of going back to school. This is huge for kids, even when school just isn’t their cup of tea. Every year to build the excitement and get kids ready for another year of learning, Forest Park in Kew Gardens sponsors a back to school party. The admission is free, and participants can enjoy music, games, and lots of great prizes.

September also brings Restaurant Week, where different restaurants in Queens offer up specials and new creations. Over one hundred restaurants are participating this year, and it seems to grow every year. Grab a coupon before you go, and your kids will eat free.
